Looe Festival by Sea June 27th, 28th and 29th June 2008

The town of Looe welcomes you to the fifth Looe Festival of the Sea. The theme has always been about Looe's considerable links to the sea and this year is no exception!

The event is very much a home grown celebration of all things Cornish. All the entertainment and events have been organised by over 60 local groups and organisations all proud to show the best of Looe.

Daily food tastings on east & west Looe Quays

The Taste South East Cornwall crew will be central to the Festival with their ever-popular Grazing on the Quay tastings. Visitor and locals alike can savour the flavour of chilled soup, tickle the taste buds with oat-coated mackerel or flatter the palate with festival fishcakes! The event is also designed to 'meet the producers'; from Bocaddon Farm with their ethically reared Veal. to Cornish Orchards apple juices and ciders.
If Looe's catch of the day is not your tidbit, then perhaps you will smack your lips and be tempted with the sweet sensation of Cornish Clotted Cream Fudge or the luscious Cornish Lust liqueur.
