Porthallow Farm is a working organic family farm situated at the heart of Talland Bay.
The farmstead is just a few hundred metres up the hill from Talland Beach and the South West Coastal path that runs from Looe to Polperro, which is one of the most popular and spectacular stretches of beautiful coastal scenery in Cornwall. Our land runs right down to the beach and is the home of our 750 ewe breeding flock, not forgetting 1 dog, 2 cats and four ponies.

Bed and Breakfast in a elegant 16th century farmhouse on a working sheep farm situated in unspoilt countryside with panoramic views, only 4 miles from the fishing villages of Looe and 8 miles from Polperro. Ideally situated for touring Cornwall, approximately 20 miles from The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. National Trust, coast, moors and fishing can be found within easy proximity.
The spacious 16th century character farmhouse retains many of its original features such as flagstone floors and wood panelled lounge.
The house has been sympathetically modernised to provide three letting rooms, 2 doubles en-suites and 1 twin with private bathroom. All are individually decorated and of exceptional quality and standard. Each room has a freeview digital colour television, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, Cornish bottled water, hospitality tray, Wi Fi Internet connection, towels, face cloths, complimentary toiletries, and are centrally heated (for the colder months).
Breakfast is served at separate tables in the wood panelled guest lounge, which overlooks the garden. Start your day with a hearty full English breakfast, or if you wish you can take a lighter choice from the varied menu. Local produce and free-range eggs are used and special diets/requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

The farm is family run with a herd of frisian dairy cattle. We have a passion for horses which can be see in the fields or stable. Cleese Farm is a country farmhouse offering traditional farmhouse Bed and breakfast, set in a delightful setting with picturesque view of the sea and wooded valleys. We are ideally located for exploring sandy beaches, the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro with their winding narrow streets. For walkers the coastal walks are spectacular & are within easy reach.
Our Georgian Farmhouse boasts many period features creating a unique charm & atmosphere. we offer homely, comfortable & friendly bed and breakfast accommodation. our spacious rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Beautiful blue flagstone slate runs the length of the hall & kitchen. Pine shutters & marble fireplace remain in the dinning room & the bedrooms still have there original fireplaces. The garden is a wonderful place to relax in the evening, from here the views of the sea and green valleys are breathtaking. We have a large family room with a double bed and a single bed and ample room for a second single bed. This south facing room has beautiful views over the rolling countryside down to the sea and Millendreath.
