The
old Sail Loft Restaurant one of the oldest buildings inLooe, still largely preserved in its original form, the cellar and loft are known to date back at least 450 years. Reputed to be a former haunt for smugglers and sea faring men of the 16th Century, it was then known locally as “The Run” probably due to it's time honoured association with smuggling.

Restaurant has far reaching views across Looe Bay and
diners delight in watching the fishing fleet come and go throughout the
day. Mainly French and English, a daily changing menu with several choices
offers a wide variety of fresh local produce
Naturally, fresh seafood, straight off the boats in Looe Harbour is a speciality,
including John Dory, monkfish, sole, plaice, brill, sea bass, turbot, local
scallops, mackerel and in season, Lobster and Crab.
The wine list contains over 40 carefully selected wines from France, Germany,
Australia, USA, New Zealand and Chile. All are chosen for their high quality
at value for money prices.

Located on the ground floor with stunning views of the East Looe River valley you'll find the restaurant. Our restaurant features the modern Euro-British cuisine of Head Chef Benjamin Palmer and Sous Chef Darren Raddy. Our award winning restaurant is open from 7pm until 9pm, Monday to Saturday evenings and 12noon until 3:30pm Sunday lunchtime, serving the very best of all that is caught and grown locally right here in Glorious Cornwall - including of course Looe Day Boat Fish and chilled Camel Valley Cornish Wines. Light lunches are also available between 12 - 2 Tuesday to Saturday, with cream teas and crumpets available every afternoon!
Our menu showcases the freshest local produce, meats and cheeses, not to mention the freshest fish landed daily by the fishermen of Looe just half a mile away.
